Search Engine Optimization is process of maximizing number of visitors to a particular website.Three main processes of search engine optimization are, crawling catching and inducing. there are mainly two type of search engine optimizations , on page optimization and off page optimization.


On page optimization means working with in the website, and off page optimization means working out side the website. sharing a web page through social medias are example of off page optimization. Making a change or editing is the examples of on page optimization.

                   Black hat SEO
White hat SEO means the man who do his optimization work in an ethical way. Black hat SEO means man who do optimization work by breaking the rules. keyword  staffing and keyword Meta tag are consided as a black hat SEO practies. keyword staffing means  staffing keywords to unwanted places and keyword meta tag.

Meta tags:Meta tags are the briefings of text that which explains the content of the page. The tags from blog Meta tags and culture are more or less the same thing, a small content which helps the search engines to tell what a web page is all about.




Keyword staffing: Keyword staffing means that an effort to to increase the web page ranking and create more attention to the site artificially by inserting large number of keywords and Meta tags.
Link specific: Google introduces link specific that means the sites which have link supports from another site will placed higher in ranking. But the coming of link sellers affected this practice. So google introduces Quality link specific.
Quality link specific: It means the site which have links from quality sites will placed high ranking.
Google page rank: It is a calculation used by google itself using the rank website in their own search engine results. The important of website page is measured by page ranking. Mainly the links to a page determines the importance of that web page. The ranking is done out 10.

It is an important search results ranking algorithm which released in February 2011. The main thing is panda is against content spamming. Panda is updated from time-to-time. Aimed to lower the rank of low quality sites, in particular "content farms", and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results. Panda 4.0 is an important update. Google makes this as a permanent filter.
Penguin update

It is in April 2012. It is focused on link spamming. The quality of the search results decreases when the web page is buy and sell links to increase the google ranking.
Humming bird

It is a search algorithm used by Google from August 30, 2013. It gives a systematic search result. But the problem is the people acceptance make the google to accept the information as right whenever it was a wrong information.

Rank brain

It is an artificial intelligence which used in the search engines. Through this google understands the needs of the user and gives the right result.

Pigeon update


It is the code name given to one of Google's local search algorithm updates on July 24, 2014. It is for to increase local listing in a search. It will affect the search result of google maps and other search results.
Pirate update

The EMD update is against to the sites which violates the copyright, It is introduced in 2012 September 27. It is to prevent poor quality sites which have high rank because they had match search domain in their domain name.
Parked domain
 
It is a registration of domain names without associated with any services like Gmail or a website.it is a practice of reserving a domain for future development.
Mobilegiddon



Mobilegeddon is a name of Google's algorithm update of April 21, 2015. It is to give priority to web sites that display well on smartphones and other mobile devices.
